WHO YOU ARE:

You’re a licensed California attorney who thrives in the world of family law. You enjoy making persuasive arguments in court and have taken the lead on at least one long-cause hearing or trial. Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively makes you a trusted advocate for your clients.

You’re organized, tech-savvy, and have experience working remotely or using web-based case management tools like MyCase® or Clio®. You’re not looking for a full-time role right now but want a position that offers flexibility in when, where, and how you work. You appreciate the challenges of the legal system and believe in using technology to make legal services more efficient and accessible.

Most importantly, you’re someone who’s easy to work with, enjoys collaborating, and brings a positive attitude to the team. You take your work seriously—but you also know that a good sense of humor and a supportive work environment make all the difference.

THE JOB:

We’re looking for a part-time attorney to handle court appearances (both virtual and in-person, as needed) and assist in resolving cases. Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Arguing cases in court with confidence and clarity

✅ Researching family law issues and preparing legal documents

✅ Communicating with clients and opposing counsel to move cases forward

✅ Strategizing and preparing for hearings

THE DETAILS:

📍 Location: Work remotely or from our downtown San Diego office (Training period in-person)

⏳ Hours: Up to 20 hours per week (Part-time to start). Must be available at least 2 hours per day (Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM) for court appearances and client communications

💰 Pay: $50 per hour
