George Thomas is working in exclusive partnership with a leading manufacturer based in Steuben County, New York.

They are looking to onboard an experienced Sr Electrical Power Engineer to support their manufacturing operations.

Location: Steuben County, NY

• This position requires on-site presence.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, analyze, and implement complex electrical systems, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
• Develop detailed power distribution schematics and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Optimize energy efficiency and improve system reliability.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and lead solutions to enhance resilience and sustainability.
• Perform critical assessments of system performance to identify areas for improvement.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on high-impact projects.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing power systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Effective communication skills and experience in team collaboration.
