We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Forklift Operator (Sit-Down Forklift).

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 3:00pm; Friday, 6:30am - 11:00am

Work 38.5 hours and get paid 40 hours!

Occasional Overtime may be required.

Major responsibilities of this position are listed below but are not limited to:

• Stages completed pallets at assigned dock doors for shipment.
• Loads finished pallets on correct designated trailer.
• Ensures that all orders are picked/shipped complete, in the right quantity and in good condition.
• Has minimal product damage (sheets or finished) on a daily basis.
• Understands product placement and bin locations.
• Utilizes RF unit technology for order selecting process.
• Checks and verifies incoming and outgoing loads to ensure accuracy, noting any discrepancies and/or any damages to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Keeps a well-organized staging area to minimize the loading and unloading times and maximize the flow of goods in and out of the dock area.
• Performs related tasks as required or directed by plant management.

To be considered, candidates must have the following:

• At least 1-2 years experience in a primary role as a  Sit-Down Forklift Operator ( does not include pallet jack, order pickers, reach ) .
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Active listening, evaluating, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as shipping paperwork, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check (IF YOU CAN'T PASS, DON'T APPLY)
