We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, with a particular emphasis on healthcare manufacturing. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including project management, team leadership, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, process improvement, risk management, performance management, supply chain management, electrical systems, strategic planning, production planning, inventory management, logistics management, product development, and business process improvement.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure efficiency and productivity.
2. Develop and implement operational strategies and objectives to achieve corporate goals.
3. Lead and manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
4. Manage all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement to inventory management, to ensure smooth operations.
5. Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost-efficiency.
6. Ensure the manufacturing process adheres to policies and procedures, and complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
7. Troubleshoot issues that arise in the operations, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures.
8. Manage and optimize operational process flow to reduce waste and increase performance.
9. Develop and manage budget and operational metrics.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize and develop new products.
11. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
12. Lead and develop performance management strategies to improve team productivity.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management in the manufacturing industry
3. Proven experience in project management, team leadership, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, process improvement, risk management, performance management, supply chain management, electrical systems, strategic planning, production planning, inventory management, logistics management, product development, and business process improvement.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
5. Strong strategic planning and business development skills.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
7. Proficient in using MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong understanding of industry standards and health and safety regulations.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
12. Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a drive for results.
