What You'll Do:
Process and resolve denied or underpaid insurance claims by working with insurance carriers, patients, and physicians
Communicate professionally and efficiently with clients to resolve inquiries or concerns
Identify and report payer trends that may impact revenue or reimbursement
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
Ensure accurate documentation and maintain detailed records
Follow established processes and procedures to maximize efficiency
What We're Looking For:
✔ High school diploma or equivalent (medical billing courses or higher education is a plus!)
✔ Strong computer skills and excellent written & verbal communication skills
✔ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
✔ Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes is preferred but not required
✔ Prior medical billing experience is a plus, but we provide training for the right candidate!
