Position Description: Marketing Associate Location: Hyannis MA Supervisory Responsibility: None Human Resources: Cheryl Barrows Summary: The Marketing Associate promotes Hy-Line Cruises products and services effectively through management of marketing channels and creation of promotional materials. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate internally with other departments. Present ideas and recommendations to Marketing Director and/or company owners. Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities. Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met. Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums. Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns. Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs. Evaluate success of campaigns and adjust as needed. Sells advertising. Licenses, Registrations, and/or Certifications: None Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field. 3 -5 years of related experience writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects will be requested. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations. Creative writing skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Moderate to Advanced Computer Skills, more specifically: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, proficient in WordPress. Project management skills. Basic photography and video skills required. Ability to stand for periods of time, walk, or easily move around in various locations on land and on company vessels. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Must be able to safely perform the essential duties for the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Other Duties: Assigned as needed.
