Interior Designer Posted Wednesday, January 15 Organization MSR Design Location Minneapolis Description MSR Design, a national award-winning architecture and interior design firm headquartered in Minneapolis, is seeking an experienced interior designer to work on a wide variety of projects. We are seeking motivated individuals with curiosity and a passion for learning, strong technical skills in documentation and detailing, and interest in sustainable design as tracked through the ten measures of the AIA Framework for Design Excellence. The selected interior designer will be involved from concept design through construction completion of projects. We seek to hire an individual with a variety of backgrounds and the ability to work across multiple projects, who will thrive in our collaborative studio culture. Required Qualifications At least a bachelor’s degree in interior design from a CIDA-accredited design school. 4-6 years of experience as an interior designer. Experience working with furniture and textile manufacturers, creating innovative design solutions, and converting design concepts to real design solutions. Proficiency with presentation and graphics software (PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator). Advanced proficiency with 3D computer aided drafting (Revit) and familiarity with 2D computer aided drafting (AutoCAD). Experience with 3D modeling and rendering (Revit and Enscape) and hand sketching. NCIDQ certification preferred.
