Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Calling on Massachusetts-certified Scienceteachers who want to support Science instruction in high school resource classrooms. Soliant is working with a moderately sized school district in Framingham, MA and is seeking a contract teacher for the spring semester.

• Master's degree in Special Education
• Massachusettscertification as a Special Education Teacher

Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay of $45 to $47/hr, W2

Responsibilities include:

• Working to understand student, based on parental feedback, staff consultations, and prior records
• Administering diagnostic tests
• Consolidating testing information, observations, and determining student's strengths, weaknesses, and potential
• Developing short-term and long-term goals, as part of an Individual Education Plan
• Presenting students' present levels, and their IEP goals, to staff and parents
• Developing classroom activities, implementing lesson plans, and presenting periodic progress reports
• Collaborating with classroom aides to foster a safe learning environment
• Maintaining record of student activities
• Consulting with parents, and making adjustments to classroom activities as needed
