Your Impact on the Business:

As an Entry-Level Critical Facilities Technician, you will be introduced to the day-to-day operations of a data centre, focusing on learning and supporting critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems. What You Will Be Doing:

• Learn to operate and maintain critical and non-critical data centre infrastructure.
• Assist the CFT team in monitoring power, cooling, and environmental conditions in data halls.
• Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment under supervision.
• Support troubleshooting technical issues and respond to emergencies alongside experienced technicians.
• Assist with reviewing procedures and participating in maintenance inspections.
• Escort contractors and ensure compliance with facility rules.
• Conduct facility rounds and participate in operations, construction, and commissioning activities as needed.

The Necessities:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical school training is a plus.
• Interest in pursuing a career in mission-critical environments.
• Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical systems is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to complete Level I training within 30 days and Level II training within 60 days of employment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive approach to learning and development.
