Pay Range: $45 - $46/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Connection: Assists in the development and execution of strategies and plans that ensure long term sustainable growth of the business.
  • Synthesizes data and intuition on all areas of the business and leverages this understanding to support identification and innovation of business building solutions.
  • Insights and Analytics: For assigned projects utilizes Customer Insights & Analytics experts and tools to understand and forecast market, competitor and customer needs and behavior, helps to define appropriate target audiences, evaluate sufficiency, and effectively drive results with data-based decisions. Helps build a learning culture through coaching and participation.
  • Branding: Guides and builds the brand within the level or area of responsibility, including the development and delivery of the On Your Side Experience to customers, driving customer value (solutions and experiences).
  • Ensures consistency of the 'brand experience' for all customers (end-users and intermediaries), considering company values and legal/compliance requirements.
  • Manages or assists in the development, testing and evaluation (via market metrics) of all marketing within area of responsibility.
  • Utilizes strong oral and written communication skills in presentations and communications.
  • Marketing Capabilities: Contributes to the development of increased Marketing capabilities and competencies within the team and across the Marketing organization.
  • Organization Management: Strong project management capability. Guides and focuses project teams to accomplish specific goals, develops self and others; manages workflow and organizational planning.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills:7 yrs Experience in marketing, insurance.
  • Hands-on digital experience in email marketing, digital marketing, marketing automation.
  • 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud power user, specific experience.
  • Provides consultation to marketing strategy leads in regard to Marketing Cloud capabilities.
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on digital experience in email marketing, digital marketing, marketing automation and personalization tools, including campaign set-up, nurture methodology, and clear understanding of performance metrics.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud power user, specific experience with email, marketing cloud personalization, and journey builder. Experience leading strategic approach to journey building, ensuring alignment with marketing or business strategies and best practices, as well as consultation with strategy leads regarding build within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Candidates must have a basic knowledge of HTML, SQL, and AMPscript to effectively manage and personalize email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Demonstrated experience leading work with cross-functional teams to increase efficiency, automation and speed to market and helping to drive web and email personalization at scale.
  • Typically 7 or more years of related professional experience in marketing, insurance or related field.
  • Masters degree may be substituted for a portion of the experience requirements as appropriate. Management or project leadership experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing methodologies, insurance and/or financial services products, distribution systems, and customers. Knowledge of project leadership concepts and methodologies.
  • Possesses strong verbal and written skills needed to develop and review research studies, communicate research findings, market recommendations based on findings, develop and negotiate contracts/service agreements with internal/external contacts, manage market planning projects, and manage relationships.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize projects.
  • Ability to function independently or in a team environment with limited supervision.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and advanced business software.
  • Notes: This is a Hybrid Role: The selected candidate would need to works in downtown Columbus 2 days per week. The remaining days can be remote.
  • The selected candidate will be covering for a full-time associate going out on maternity leave.
  • The first 60 calendar days will involve training under the direction of that associate,
