    • Position Summary
    • One temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study Student Assistant positions in the English Department.
    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after August 21, 2024 and ending on or before May 23, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Assist with communication and greeting visitors.
      • Assist with telephone inquiries and routing them to the appropriate person and taking messages when necessary.
      • Assist in retrieving and sorting incoming mail and distributing it to appropriate recipients.
      • Assist in making on-campus deliveries.
      • Assist in basic troubleshooting with technology (printers, computers, copy machines, etc.).
      • Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory.
      Other duties as assigned.
    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Demonstrates the ability to utilize office equipment (copy machine, fax, scanner, etc.).
      • Ability to follow verbal instructions.
      • Demonstrates reliability, responsibility, and punctuality.
      • Demonstrates good customer service and telephone etiquette skills.
      • Demonstrates experience with Microsoft Office Software and TEAMS.
      • Demonstrates the availability to work between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
