Job Details
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of engineers in various projects, ensuring that they are completed successfully, on time, and within budget.
Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets, providing regular financial reports to senior management.
Oversee the engineering design process, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary requirements and standards.
Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to come up with new ideas and solutions.
Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering department, aligning them with the overall goals of the company.
Ensure that all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Provide technical leadership and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree or higher will be an added advantage.
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the Upfitting & vehicle customization industry, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scale engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of engineering design processes, project management, and budgeting.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
A commitment to continuous professional development.
