BCDI is hiring a Billing & Reimbursement Specialist for our growing team! The Billing & Reimbursement Specialist verifies healthcare charges against established rates for diagnosis, treatment, services, and supplies; maintains patient accounts via automated billing system, and submits claims to a wide variety of payment sources including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and other third party reimbursors. Salary Range: $50,000 - $58,000 dependent upon experience

Requirements

1) 2+ years medical billing experience preferred.

2) Medication billing a plus.

3) Experience with billing Part B drugs a plus.

4) Knowledge of medical terminology utilized in medical billing, current office practices and procedures, and basic math.

5) Ability to elicit and evaluate information, sometimes of a highly personal and sensitive nature.

6) Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulations, policies, and procedures. Bleeding and Clotting Disorders Institute
